The below are the admin tools available for HANA database

  1. SAP HANA Studio
  2. SAP HANA Cockpit ( Single hana db)
  3. SAP DBA Cockpit
  4. SAP Solution manager
  5. SAP HANA HDBSQL
  6. SAP DB Control center ( db products in entire landscape, dc including hana db)

Initially HANA studio ( till SPS09 ) is the only tool available for development and administration. as a long term plan SAP introduced web based admin tools HANA cockpit ( Only HANA databases ) &  DB control center  ( All kind of databases ). So in future Hana studio will be used for only development / modelling. For administration either HANA cockpit / DB control center will be used. 

 

Solution manager / DBA cockpit are based on SAP NW based monitoring / admin tools.
